I am an undergraduate Molecular and Cell Biology major, minoring in Astrobiology and Biochemistry. I am a Beckman Foundation Scholar and Summer 2025 Fellow with the American Society of Plant Biologists. I conduct research with PhD Candidate Erika Haws on the CEP nitrogen signaling system in plants. I utilize molecular biology techniques to create chimeric plants that can be studied to understand the evolution and impact of CEP receptors in plants. Outside of the lab I rock climb, backpack, garden, and oil paint landscapes of other planets and moons in our solar system.
